Jill Stuart really knows her way around a pretty frock. From black lace, to gold-and-black chiffon, to sheer panelled silk in blushtones, there were frothy confections aplenty at her Fall 2013 show.

In fact her skill at creating ultra-feminine, super-pretty dresses and skirts is so great, that her other designs–the somewhat lackluster outerwear and pants–often get lost in the mix of things.

With that in mind, it’s easy to see why Stuart’s clothing has become such a hit among Hollywood’s PYTs–and why her clothes have yet to find a stronghold in the regular-person market (at least stateside – we hear she’s got a serious fan base in South Korea and Japan). Be that as it may, it was lovely to get swept up into the romance of her super girly world–if only for 15 minutes.
