At a time when even the best of designers don't seem safe at their labels (see: Nicolas Ghesquière's split from Balenciaga, speculation over Marc Jacobs's contract renewal with Louis Vuitton) you can rest easy that Riccardo Tisci isn't going anywhere.

WWD is reporting that Tisci has signed on for three more years with Givenchy. Which is just plain smart given that Tisci has created so much buzz around the label and made it-items out of his printed tees and sweatshirts. WWD's Miles Socha cites industry sources as saying that Givenchy is shifting into "expansion mode." What that means we can only guess: New categories? A line at a lower price point? That would be nice...
