Evidenced by the fact that I bought them two years ago and they’re still easy to find in stores, these Karen Walker sunnies never go out of style.

I actually bought my first pair of Karen Walker Helter Skelters (and first pair of designer sunglasses ever) in basic black about a year before that and lost them (or they were stolen) and waited a year before giving in and buying another pair. I couldn’t bring myself to buy the exact same ones, so I went with this slightly quirkier but still neutral tortoise and I’m so glad I did.

I love them and get compliments on them year-round, which brings me to another thing I love about them. They’re not too distinctively summery, so they’re perfect for those sunny winter days (like today).
