We were pretty excited--not only because we're kinda Hunger Games fanatics, but also because she appears to be wearing fall 2012 McQueen! And not just any look--almost the exact outfit we photoshop-dressed her in last year. Perhaps we have potential careers as costume designers?

Effie wore McQueen in the first movie as well, so it's no surprise. Nevermind that she's going to look two seasons behind when the film premieres this fall--Sarah Burton may be psychic enough to know about the papal resignation, but apparently not enough to pass along a fall 2013 look while the film was shooting last year.

On a perhaps even more exciting note, Katniss Everdeen (aka our bff Jennifer Lawrence)'s "official portrait" was unveiled late last night and her dress, too, is McQueen-esque, though not an exact runway look that we were able to find.

A blog called Style Barron also noticed that Katniss's dress in another still from the film bears a striking resemblance to a fall 2012 Christopher Kane look. So, we guess the costumes are a mixture of knock-offs and the real deal?

Interestingly, as Style Barron points out, this film has a new costume designer: Trish Summerville of Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. Summerville also designed a Dragon Tattoo-inspired H&M collection around that film's release.

You know what would not surprise us at all? A Hunger Games-inspired H&M collection. Just sayin.'
