H&M's New Sustainable Formalwear Collection Looks Really Good (If a Tad Familiar)

We've already picked out pieces we want to buy. Of course, we'd have to ignore the fact that the collection is kind of like a Greatest Hits from the spring 2013 runways.

Helen Hunt shocked red carpet reporters (a rare feat) when she wore a gown by--gasp!--H&M to the Oscars this year.

The dress was from H&M's "Exclusive Conscious" red carpet collection--a formalwear offshoot of the mass retailer's "sustainable" collection--that launched last year.

The look book for H&M's second Exclusive Conscious collection just landed in our inbox and while the legitimacy of H&M's sustainability claims may be debatable, the cuteness of this collection is not. We've already picked out pieces we want to buy. Of course, we'd also have to ignore the fact that the collection is kind of like a Greatest Hits from the spring 2013 runways. A white pants look with a long strapless top might be the most direct Raf Simons's Dior knockoff we've seen yet.

Still, that white lace asymmetrical hem dress is so cute! Will there ever come a day when we can buy high street stuff without all of this internal conflict? While we ponder that, click through to see the full collection (and prices), which hits stores April 4.
