IHPR, an established boutique PR agency, is looking for a freelance Senior Publicist in New York or LA. We are seeking someone who can jump in and lead accounts so solid relationships with national fashion and/or lingerie editors is a must.

Job Responsibilities:
• Manage day to day media needs of lingerie / fashion accounts; act as lead liaison between client and agency
• Secure effective national, regional and online media (features as well as product placement) for each account depending on needs of each brand
• Maintain strong relationships with Fashion Directors, key editors, stylists and bloggers
• Create innovative communications strategies each season for a variety of lines (ranging from 1000+ door brands to boutique brands)
• Take own initiatives to develop, tailor and pitch story ideas for brand
• Assist with editor previews in NYC at least 2 times/year
• Manage reports to agency and client

Desired Skills & Experience
Must have:
• Strong relationships with national fashion market/lingerie editors and editorial stylists, and LA & NY regional media (editorial references are a plus!)
• 5-6 years experience of working in fashion PR, contemporary market preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to deal with a range of client personalities
• Ability to work independently (with results) and within teams
