Yes, the photo at left is from a real runway show in Paris.
Moncler is known for pulling some crazy stunts at its runway shows. In New York, it created a scary-looking army of 370 models on risers; it showed fall 2012 on an ice skating rink; and today, Moncler sent live animals down the runway.
First, models walked the snow-covered, glacier-esque runway with leashed Siberian huskies. Later on, there was some repelling on bungee cords (or whatever the correct mountain climbing term for that is); and the grand finale was a bunch of people in polar bear costumes walking with and hugging the bundled up models. It was basically a polar bear cuddle party.
Thankfully, the Times‘s Eric Wilson knew a perfect Vine opportunity when he saw one and shot this moment of a dog running loose on the runway:
Um. There are dogs on the loose at Moncler. vine.co/v/bHDuIjJlQiW
