"I love to get obsessed with things and afterwards change extremely while keeping my identity," said Pedro Lourenco of fall 2013's move away from pink, the dominant color in his spring collection.

For fall, Lourenco's inspirations were certainly more ambitious. From 1950s modernism in Brazil—evident in the futuristic winged white pumps and whittled-in waists—to Diana Vreeland, whose influence is felt in the gold bangles, black and red leopard coat, brooches and leather gloves, Lourenco looked to the past without going full-on vintage. The result was a strong collection that further proved the youngster (he's 22) has real staying power.
