What Fashionista Editors Want for Spring

David Yi

T by Alexander Wang Pleated Shorts: For spring I can’t imagine wearing leather shorts–I’d sweat my balls off, hello! But ideally, I would want to wear leather shorts. Thanks to these T by A Wang ones I can wear shorts that look like leather but won’t make my buns burn in a would-be leather oven. Though it would kind of be fun.

Joyrich x Giza S/S 2013: Anyone who knows anything about cool girls in fashion knows about Mademoiselle Yulia. She’s a DJ, model, singer, designer–overall genius whose style is sicker than anyone in the world. That’s a bold statement and I stand by it. It’s her second collaboration with Joyrich and I am counting down the days for this embroidered jacket. I can’t wait any longer!

Mi-Pac Backpack at Asos: I’m a sucker for backpacks cuz, I’m like, forever a 14-year-old. This one is edgy enough for someone my age to look cool without trying too hard to be young.

Joomi Lim Necklace: I can think of no one other than Joomi Lim that I would want to wear every single day of the year and this necklace is what I’ve been drooling over all winter. It’s the perfect mix between hard and soft, elegant and punk with its pearls, crystals and spikes–all kinds of right.

Givenchy Madonna-Print Tee: Can it finally be spring so I can debut this shirt I’ve been saving up so long for? Yes, it’s outrageously expensive for a tee–a little more than a PS1 bag–but it’s not just a t-shirt. So much more. It’s edgy, made extremely well, mixed with cotton and organza. Makes anyone instantly a bad ass.
