Editor's Pick: Hayley's Magic $40 LBD

A little while ago, I realized I did not have that one thing that fashion editors are always saying you should have: An LBD. Obviously I had to remedy that situation. Yep, I was on the hunt.

Except here's the thing: I don't have an LBD because, try as I might I just don't love getting all gussied up and wearing dresses. I'm much more into pants or jeans (or sweatpants if I can get away with it). That being said, an LBD does really come in handy for certain situations--so I decided I should purchase one but only if I loved it and only if it was super cheap. Happily, Topshop had one that would fit the bill.

Made of 95% cotton with 5% elastane this dress is deceptively simple but kind of magic: It's machine washable, won't wrinkle, and is ridiculously, ridiculously flattering. You can dress it up (with fancy heels and a necklace) or down (with ballet flats and a sweater). And, of course, the icing on the cake is that it's just $40.

Go get it here.
