Responsibilities: * Write and Produce fashion related news stories for digital editorial purposes * Source, gather, write, produce, and edit stories while maintaining quality control of 1stclassfashion.com online presence * Acquire still images and videos for news stories. * Transcribe interview clips for web projects. * Gather information on celebrities, designers, socials, influencers, bloggers , trend-setters for weekly editorial content. * Review story content, sequence, and length for output. * Strategize alternative methods editing to enhance each production project * Direct the pre-production and post-production processes, ensuring that production goals and schedules are met.

This position has frequent contact with all levels of 1stclassfashion.com employees and managers. This position also has frequent contact vendors, clients and other outside callers. The ideal candidate must possess: * Minimum of two years of experience in a digital/ editorial / media environment, particularly in an agency setting * Journalism experience is required * Digital photography/videography background is preferred * Technology experience, preferably in an Apple environment * Ability to manage high volume, detail oriented process flow * Strong geographical knowledge of greater Los Angeles area * Skills in building and sustaining trusted relationships with artists; ability to understand varying needs and anticipating solutions * Customer-service orientation toward client satisfaction * Strong written and verbal communication skills

TRAVEL EDITOR/PRODUCER

Freelance Position: $125/Story (min 2 stories a week) We are looking for a dynamic and creative candidate who will work to produce travel editorial stories on the must-see places locally, nationally and internationally. Producing seasonal and long-lead stories by traditional editorial standards, but also implementing video interviews, photography, social web content, viral clips, "hot-spot" list, and other promotions for the creation of content , to be published on our website, social media pages, company newsletter and pitched to bloggers and local/national media.

PHOTO EDITOR/PHOTOGRAPHER

Freelance Position: $20/hour The photo editor will fulfill all photography needs for 1stclassfashion.com, select the best photos, source photographers and work with editors to create the best visual experience on the site. He/she should have extensive knowledge of and a love for fashion and have experience working in a fast-paced environment..

Responsibilities • Fulfills online needs for editorial stories, show packages/promotion, galleries, sweepstakes, and banners while • Sourcing hundreds of fashion and style related images per week from online wires, bloggers, media sites, etc and collecting proper source information and contacts for purchasing of images • Acts as a liaison between the art, editorial, and marketing departments by researching and locating the best images in the creation and enhancement of upcoming features. • Able to resize, retouch and color correct photos, as well as imputing photos into a proprietary image management tool. • Complete various annual assignments such as award show packages; film festivals packages and various other large events. • Continuously researching new ways of enhancing the photo department's capabilities to meet the online needs. • Contacts publicists, agents, designer studios and media outlets/ networks for photography assets to promote shows, events, and support online and banners as needed. • Have the ability to negotiate usage fees with paparazzi agencies and stock photography agencies when needed. • Organizes and maintains the constantly growing photo archive daily. • Passionate about news, familiar with all of the Web's top news sites and blogs, and with current entertainment news

Basic Qualifications: • Experience with digital photography and a strong eye for photography a must. • Minimum 2 years of editorial/research experience, preferably in the entertainment business or equivalent • Experience using online paparazzi and stock photography sites as well as entertainment media press sites. • Familiar with photo rights & clearances. • Mac & Internet literate, and very proficient using Adobe CS 5 & Office Suite. • Excellent communication skills a must. • Organized, able to handle the pressure of a fast-paced environment and still maintain a strong attention to detail. • Creative, self-motivated, organized, and able to prioritize and multi-task. • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines. • Applies creativity and innovation to work processes. • Willingness to be collaborative and take direction. • Prepared to work overtime when necessary. • Passion for Pop Culture necessary.
