IED Florence invites you to study in Tuscany, a region that’s helping to support the widely sought after “Made in Italy” standard.
The school’s new Fashion Communication program will launch its first edition in October 2013. With a three-year program that includes an up-to-date curriculum and strategic approaches and perspectives into the fashion world. The program focuses on Digital Media and its applications in current and near-future communication techniques of the fashion industry.
The IED philosophy is to collaborate with many local companies as possible to maintain a highly interconnected and work-oriented approach. Companies that have collaborated with IED include Luisa Via Roma, Fendi, Cavallini, Braccialini and Roy Rogers.
The school’s fashion courses also provide significant insight on fashion in foreign markets, because fashion is truly global now. Director of IED Florence, Alessandro Colombo, says, “Fundamental to this approach is the school’s relationship with the entrepreneurs and professionals working in the Italian fashion business, the world’s largest concentration of clothing industrialists and creatives.”
