Jump On It

There's really an all-in-one thing going on in fashion right now. First, we wanted rompers; then it was overalls. Now, we're fiending for a good, full-legged jumpsuit. Celebs, it seems, are right on board with us.

There's really an all-in-one thing going on in fashion right now. First, we wanted rompers; then it was overalls. Now, we're fiending for a good, full-legged jumpsuit.

Celebs, it seems, are right on board with us. Last night at a Chicago listening party for her new album, Miley Cyrus wore a backless Margiela jumpsuit. She looked stunning. Cyrus seems to be quite taken with the jumpsuit as of late: She wore a Balmain one to the Billboard Music Awards, a Chanel one to a Ryan Seacrest Foundation event, a Valentino one to a Maxim party, and, of course, she rocks a onesie in her twerk video. Carey Mulligan, Beyonce and SJP have also all recently dabbled in the style.

Off the red carpet, jumpsuits of a less fancy variety have been popping up: Dree Hemingway, Kate Moss and Sienna Miller (the blonde boho trifecta?) have all recently been snapped in boilersuits/mechanics suits. I saw Glamour's Laurel Pantin sporting one with high heels and a cross-body Chanel bag and knew I wanted in on the trend.

Whether you go for fancy or casual, jumpsuits are just the right amount of unexpected--and, obviously, are super easy and comfortable to wear. So, basically, they're right up our alley. And we guarantee at least some of the ones we've picked out will be up yours--just keep in mind what kind of bathroom situation you're walking into (festival porta potties = jumpsuits worst nightmare).
