Burberry, Michael Kors Jump on New Instagram Video

Today, Instagram announced the addition of its own Vine-eqsue video service--and fashion brands are already jumping on board.

The fashion set's app of choice can now capture and edit up to 15 seconds of video, besting Vine's six seconds by a long shot. They will also be able to add 13 filters, something Vine doesn't offer. Best of all, the videos show up in your Instagram feed, which means no more switching from app to app.

It's like Instagram took what was great about Vine and made it even easier, which is surely why users like Michael Kors, and Leandra Medine of Man Repeller have already jumped on board. For a group that's constantly Tweeting, Instagramming, Vine-ing, Tumblring, etc, the convenience of offering at least two things in one app saves valuable time (and battery life).
