Finally, There's a Karl Lagerfeld Video Game

Karl Lagerfeld has always been a character, and now, finally, he is literally a character in a video game. The game, part of a month-long digital initiative with Lagerfeld’s eyewear distributor in France, combines two of the designer's most prominent characteristics: his penchant for sunglasses and his, er, outspoken nature.

The goal of the game, called "Je Veux Les Lunettes de Karl" (I Want Karl's Sunglasses), is to snatch Lagerfeld's signature sunglasses off his head.

As you attempt to do so, cartoon Karl (who looks a bit like if Stewie from Family Guy dressed up as Karl Lagerfeld) spews out taunting sound bites such as, "You really need glasses," in French. When you lose, you're told that "Karl has no more time for you."

Finally, we can all know what it feels like to be insulted by Karl Lagerfeld. Dreams really do come true! Play it here. And be sure to watch the intro, in which a real girl repeatedly attempts to snatch the sunglasses off of kartoon Karl. It's amazing.
