A few year ago, while searching for the perfect ballet flat--one with about an inch heel--I came across a pair of vintage navy blue Ferragamos and instantly fell in love. I've worn them consistently for about two years--and thanks to my proclivity for walking everywhere in the city they're pretty beat up by now.
And that has me dreaming about a new pair of Ferragamos--specifically the Vara pump. Leah has them in navy and every time I see them, I just want them even more. They're the perfect balance for me--not too casual, not too fancy. And they add an inch and a half of height--just enough to make a difference, without being uncomfortable.
Since my vintage pair are navy, I'm thinking of going for a deep red. The only thing stopping me is the price point--at $425 they're definitely an investment. But from what I hear, they're a smart one. Should I pull the trigger?
Get it here.
