You'll soon be able to buy Marchesa at the drugstore: Revlon just announced it's collaborating with the label, best known for its over-the-top red carpet gowns, on three beauty collections that will include nail polish, lip and eye products, nail art, and beauty tools. (That last one is intriguing. Crystal-covered eyelash curler?)

Revlon and Marchesa have a history together, so this collab makes a lot of sense. Gucci Westman, Revlon's global artistic director, did the runway makeup for Marchesa's recent bridal show and for its fall show in February, and she'll work with the brand again for its spring show in September.

The first collection, which features eight different nail wrap designs, is called Revlon by Marchesa 3D Jewel Appliqués and hits US shelves in October (see above). The next two collections, one of which has a philanthropic component, will roll out after that, though the two parties are being pretty mysterious about it all.

“While we can’t reveal all the details of our multi-collection partnership with Revlon just yet, each collection will truly embody our brand’s feminine and dramatic spirit,” Keren Craig, Marchesa's co-founder, said in a release.

With an established diffusion line (Marchesa Notte), a dress line at JCPenney, a soon-to-be launched contemporary label, and now, a drugstore beauty collab, Marchesa is making great strides towards being more accessible. We and all of those non-Hollywood starlets out there appreciate it.
