World leaders at the G8 Summit in Belfast, Ireland this past week got to take home a goody bag this year. Literally.

Mulberry gifted each of the eight world leaders from the world's wealthiest nations one of its classic bags, complete with monograms. The men received the manly Matthew 24 Hour Bag, which is meant to function as both a briefcase and an overnight bag (handy, when you're a world leader, no?) according to a release. German Chancellor Angela Merkel--the only woman of the bunch--received the Piccadilly in very pragmatic black. While we would have preferred a snappier color--maybe this one?--obviously black is more practical. (And definitely more German).

Thank goodness Mulberry embossed the leaders' initials on the bags. Otherwise it would have been just like at camp when you accidentally grabbed someone else's backpack because they all look the same.
