New Sunglass Line Revé Takes Cat Ears to the Next Level

Has cat-themed fashion peaked? Hardly. That is, if sunglasses designer René Chu has anything to do with it. Perfect for the woman who only wants to wear her mechanical cat ears on the weekends—because, you know, they're not always appropriate during at work—Chu's Revé line features detachable cat ears (or talons, if that's more your thing).

Chu, a former model, became obsessed with sunnies working in Hong Kong. So obsessed that, years later after earning a degree at FIDM in Los Angeles, she decided to sketch her ideal pair. And Revé was born.

The cat ear sunglasses, which are available in traditional black, black with mirrored lenses, or black with pink edges, will set you back $320. They've already been picked up by Colette, which is a strong indicator that we'll see them on the street style blogs this fall.

(PS: If you don't love the idea of cat-ear sunglasses, there are normal styles, too.)
