Target and Lauren Bush Lauren Bring the Fashion Set to Brooklyn

Target and Feed USA asked a lot of the fashion crowd yesterday. For one, it was the first big fashion event in Brooklyn maybe ever--the first one I've been to, anyway. But the fashion crowd--around 500 people total, we heard--happily (and some not-so-happily) found its way to Brooklyn Bridge Park in DUMBO on a lovely June evening for a dinner party celebrating Target's latest collaboration with FEED USA and Lauren Bush Lauren. In addition, guests were asked to wear red.

In addition to making the trek, guests were asked to wear red. We're not entirely sure why, but it made the whole event aesthetically pretty cool--not that it wasn't already. The waterside setting was pretty idyllic and the charming grass-lined tables, littered with mason jars, made the dining area look like your favorite hip farm-to-table restaurant.

We nibbled on delicious, fresh salads, lamb, and trout while watching Lea Michele, Lauren Bush Lauren, and Target's Laysha Ward talk about sad hunger statistics and how we can help (which was a little awkward, actually, given all the free food being dished out simultaneously).

As is de rigueur for Target events, several notables showed up including Michele, Karlie Kloss, Sophia Bush, Mamie Gummer, Nate Berkus, Jeremiah Brent (!!), Shala Monroque, Mickey Boardman, and more. Kudos to Target for, once again, putting on a great event.

Click through for party pics and get ready to shop the collection, the proceeds of which will go towards feeding those in need (read more about it here) when it hits stores and online June 30.
