Whitney Pozgay on Her Adorable New Anthropologie Collection for Small People

While the fashion industry tends to favor the tall ('Dwarf' Cara Delevingne knows this all too well), the Fashionista team probably has a median height of 5'3." Karlie Kloss's denim line is of no interest to us shorties. In fact, you're more likely to find us in the Crewcuts section of J. Crew than anywhere else. However, Anthropologie may have just become our new favorite shopping destination.

However, Anthropologie may have just become our new favorite shopping destination.

The retailer, who's been on a collab kick lately, just launched what is basically our dream designer collaboration. A few reasons why: 1) It's with Whit's Whitney Pozgay, whose feminine, quirky wares we've always loved (she also happens to be Kate Spade's niece). 2) It's affordable with prices ranging from $148 - $258. 3) It's all really cute printed summer dresses and skirts. 4) It's all available in petite sizes! (Six pieces are available in both petite and standard sizing, three in petite only.)

Which is no accident. “I’m glad that Anthropologie invited me to help take on this category," Pozgay said. "From personal experience I know what is – and mostly isn’t – out there for petites. I’m excited to give them something beautiful and bold, tailored to fit them to perfection."

Thank you, Whitney! (And Anthropologie--the retailer is steadily expanding its petite offerings.)

There's also a behind-the-scenes video of Pozgay modeling the collection and talking about inspiration (a trip to Tulum, of course), being petite, and more. Watch the video below (via Anthropologie's blog) and click through to see Whitney in more of our favorite dresses from the collection (which you can shop here).
