Eating 'Cheese Dreams' in Bed with Rachel Antonoff

How was designer Rachel Antonoff's childhood growing up in the suburbs of New Jersey? Full of curse words and pranks. Lots and lots of the latter. Antonoff sat down with us for another episode of Haute Cuisine in her beautiful Upper West Side digs and recalled fond memories of cursing during family car trips, prank wars with her brother Jack, and making 'Cheese Dreams'--the most gluttonous grilled cheese you can imagine--with her grandmother. That's what she made for us.

How was designer Rachel Antonoff's childhood growing up in the suburbs of New Jersey? Full of curse words and pranks. Lots and lots of the latter.

Antonoff sat down with us for another episode of Haute Cuisine in her beautiful Upper West Side digs (which she shares with brother Jack) and recalled fond memories of pranking her father's business associates while growing up.

"It was a five-minute conversation on business and would end with my brother saying 'suck my balls' and hanging up," she told us while teaching us her secret Cheese Dreams recipe aka the most gluttonous grilled cheese sandwich you can imagine.

Antonoff also revealed how in her family no unattended phone is safe.

"The Rachel Antonoff business account once tweeted: 'email butt plus boobs and pussy and dick pics at info@rachelantonoff.com," she said.

The culprit?

"My brother!"

Watch the entire hilarious episode as we get in bed with Antonoff, cook her heavenly sandwich, and talk about that one time she worked with her pal Lena Dunham on a short film.
