Kate Middleton sure has a knack for crashing websites. The latest victim: Jenny Packham, whose elegant designs have been a favorite of Middleton's for a few years now.

As you've likely heard, Middleton wore a baby blue polka-dotted frock (just like Princess Diana!) by the designer for her first public appearance with His Royal Highness, Prince of Cambridge. Press releases were sent out, tweets were tweeted, and soon enough Jenny Packham had a non-functioning website.

According to reports in the Telegraph and Vogue UK, the site crashed soon after word got out that Middleton had worn the designer.

However, the traffic won't necessarily translate to sales--a rep for the brand confirmed yesterday that the dress was custom, and that there are no plans to sell it. Currently, the only items for sale on Packham's site are accessories.

Still, that doesn't mean the brand isn't keen on capitalizing on the attention--a photo of the newly expanded Royal Family currently graces the site's homepage.
