One Direction to Launch Makeup Collection

In their hit song "What Makes You Beautiful," teen sensation One Direction croons: "You're turning heads when you walk through the door/Don't need makeup/To cover up/Being the way that you are is enough." Only apparently they think you do need makeup--because they're launching their own line of lipsticks, glosses, and more.

MUA announced on its website that it's teamed up with the boy band on a small line of cosmetics called "Little Things" (after another one of the group's songs). It will include a different scented lip gloss for each boy and what seems to be his preference in scented cosmetics--"Harry loves Strawberry" while "Niall loves Cherry," apparently. There's also a collection of five lipsticks--appropriately, the "Kiss You" Lipstick range--with each hue named after different One Direction songs: "Rock Me" is a lilac, "Moments" a soft pink. The line rounds out with five nail polish colors and three cheek stains.

And since this is targeted at One Direction's young fan base (yea, I know, not me), the line is all priced under £3--about $4.61.

The makeup line will be released July 29, just before One Direction's first scent "Our Moment" hits stores this August. The Little Things Collection will be sold in select Superdrug stores and on superdrug.com, as well as MUA's website (which does ship globally, for my fellow American #directioners).

Considering the boys seem to only be getting more popular by the day--their new video "Best Song Ever" just broke the VEVO record for most views in 24 hours, scoring over 12.3 million views in just one day--we're sure this line will be another notch on their hit belt.
