It was only a matter of time.
Stylists, costume designers, models, and even editors (remember that show, Stylista?) have all been the subject of a reality TV show (or two, or three), and now street style photographers are getting in on the game too.
There's currently an open casting call seeking out street style photogs to be followed around with cameras "documenting the highs and lows of the profession as [photographers] pursue the next big find."
It's definitely an interesting concept--but can following a photographer around fill a full TV show? Just to hedge their bets, producers are looking for "big characters with a passion for what they are trying to do who will allow us to lift the curtain on their lives," so it sounds like they'll incorporate the personal drama à la The Rachel Zoe Project. At the very least it should be a lot better than that god-awful scripted soap opera about personal style bloggers from Lookbook.nu.
The pilot hasn't been picked up and there's no word of the involvement of a network, so nothing is official yet. But considering the sheer amount of reality shows that have cropped up about the industry, street style seems like the final frontier.
