It’s not just the girls of Girls that are getting the fashion set’s attention. Adam Driver–as in Adam, Hannah’s perennially shirtless pal (ex? boyfriend? friend with benefits? what.are.they!?)–has not only nabbed a high-profile ad campaign but also a cameo in Vogue‘s September issue. You can’t get much more fashion than that, can you?
New Yorker writer and Vogue film and TV critic Nathan Heller tweeted a picture of the Vogue editorial, which appears to feature Daria Werbowy and Driver against a countryside backdrop (my guess: it’s somewhere in Ireland, where Werbowy recently bought a house). Driver is balancing a sheep on his shoulder and, guess what? He’s not wearing a shirt!
Driver is also starring in Gap’s fall global marketing campaign Back to Blue, lensed by Inez and Vinood, which will span print, digital and TV.
We can’t help but wonder what Driver’s Girls alter ego would think; we have a feeling there’d be an ensuing tirade about the perils of consumerism…
