Check Out André Leon Talley's Dominatrix-y Spread in Numéro Russia's September Issue

When we heard beloved Vogue Editor-at-Large André Leon Talley had taken a position at Numéro Russia (with a "fabulous" salary), we were excited to see what he would bring to the newly-launched magazine. To give you an idea, we got an exclusive sneak peek at the magazine's first ever September Issue, including a high-drama, dominatrix-y fashion spread titled "Bed Time Stories," for which Talley was the creative director.

When we heard beloved Vogue Editor-at-Large André Leon Talley had taken a position at Numéro Russia (with a "fabulous" salary), we were excited to see what he would bring to the newly-launched magazine.

To give you an idea, we got an exclusive sneak peek at the magazine's first ever September issue, including a high-drama, dominatrix-y fashion spread titled "Bed Time Stories," for which Talley was the creative director (Sam Sohaili for DMA United was the design director.)

The spread was shot by Nigel Barker--with whom Talley reunited for the shoot post-America's Next Top Model--and features some recognizable fall fashion, like a demure Valentino frock, those Alexander McQueen honeycomb tights, some glam Tom Ford boots, and lots of pajama-inspired Marc Jacobs.

Talley and Jacobs were the ones who came to the conclusion that getting dressed up and staying at home was "the most decadent thing anyone could ever do," so this makes a lot of sense. And kind of makes us want to do the same.
