The Social Media Intern will work closely with our Marketing and Biz Dev department to manage communications through social media channels, implement successful promotions, and build the Hone brand presence.

Qualifications Role and Responsibilities: • Define and implement the social media strategy across various platforms and social communities. • Execute social media campaigns, programs and promotions. • Help Manage editorial calendar and posting schedule. • Lead the creation of relevant first and third party content in support of the editorial calendar. • Initiate and participate in conversations across social media channels. • Help track, analyze and report on the effectiveness and impact of social media efforts. • Assist with special department projects as needed.

Job Requirements: • Knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram and other comparable / upcoming social media channels • Interest in Social Media, Marketing, Communications and/or Journalism • Interest in creating and executing social media marketing campaigns • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Solid organizational and time management skills • Excellent interpersonal creativity skills • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word programs. • Basic understanding of HTML, Adobe Photoshop • Leadership and management skills • Hourly Stipend will depend on experience. • College credit available
