Bismarck Phillips Communication & Media (BPCM) is a fashion PR firm based in New York, with additional offices in Los Angeles, Paris and London. BPCM represents a number of high-end fashion, beauty and accessory clients, including Lanvin, Brian Atwood, Escada, Robert Rodriguez, Current/Elliott, Joie and many others.
BPCM is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic interns for our Los Angeles office. Typical intern duties consist of maintaining the showroom, trafficking samples, updating and maintaining credits, mailings, celebrity giftings and assisting with all the day-to-day workings of the office. The interns are expected to work extremely hard but this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop a better understanding of the fashion and pr industry.
General Qualifications: Must be highly detail-oriented, ambitious, organized, resourceful, intuitive and have excellent communication skills. This is a fast-paced environment and therefore, you must thrive under pressure and have a strong sense of urgency!! The candidate must also be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Picture Manager, in addition to possessing an interest in fashion and luxury goods. We would prefer that you have a car and are familiar with the Los Angeles area but it is not required.
Interns are needed to start as soon as possible with a 3-4 month minimum time commitment working at least 3 days per week from 9:00am-6pm. The internship is unpaid, however, school credit is available upon request.
