After an awesome time in New York, we're so excited to bring our "How to Make It in Fashion" conference to Los Angeles this November. Not only will we have amazing panel discussions and incredible keynote speakers, we're also bringing our standout mentoring sessions to the West Coast!

Here's how it works: When you buy your ticket, you can sign up for a 10-minute mentoring session with an expert in your field. You'll get one-on-one time to ask them questions and get their invaluable advice on how to succeed. So when you sign up, just indicate that you'd like a mentor from one of the following categories: Stylist, Editor/Writer, Publicist/Marketer, Designer, Blogger, or Buyer/Merchandiser. Easy.

Last year's mentors included Lucky market editor Laurel Pantin, street style photog Phil Oh of Street Peeper, and Fohr Card's James Nord—and LA's mentor list is shaping up to be just as great. We've got Britt Aboutaleb, editorial director of Byrdie.com (and former Fashionista editor!), Christoph Frehsee, CEO of eco-label Amour Vert, Kelly Howard, director of PR agency Post + Beam, and Luke Storey, CEO and founder, and Lauren Messiah, president, of The School of Style.
