Well, it happened: As we'd all hoped and prayed, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West finally made their way to Paris Fashion Week this weekend, nabbing a primo spot in the front row at Givenchy. West appeared to be on his best behavior (no leather-pants-related rants or Twitter tantrums to be seen—yet)--WWD reports that the “I Am a God" rapper rockstar even briefly joined ranks with his nemeses—the photogs, crossing over to their side of the front row to snap a cell phone pic of his date.
On her first big outing since the birth of little North West, the newly blonde Kardashian made a statement of her own in an all-black outfit styled by new pal (erm, homie?) Carine Roitfeld. The chosen look: a long black skirt with a super high-slit, a boob-baring, sheer-paneled ruffly blouse, and oxblood python strappy sandals.
Roitfeld and KimYe must've really hit it off during Kardashian's very preggo photo/video sesh shot by Karl Lagerfeld--the CR Fashion Book doyenne accompanied the couple around town right after they landed in Paris.
And West's BFF, Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci (who also reportedly conceived the CR Fashion Book cover concept), was apparently in the giving mood as well: Kardashian thanked Tisci (or shall we say, "Ricky") via Instagram and Twitter for dressing her for his frow:
Thank you Ricky for making this for me the day before the show. I die for you. #Givenchy4lifebaby
