Check out our picks for Emmy night, straight from the runways:

Image Title2

Kerry Washington: Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series

Well, People mag just crowned her the World's Best Dressed Woman--and for good reason! Since Washington doesn't shy away from bold colors or interesting shapes, we think she's got the red carpet gusto to pull off dresses many actresses couldn't.

Image Title3

Claire Danes: Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series

Danes has been around a red carpet long enough to know what works for her--there are plenty of pretty and minimalist strapless options right now from some of her preferred designers.

Image Title4

Lena Dunham: Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series

Sometimes we find Dunham dresses too dowdy for her age. Since she's pals with designers like Zac Posen--who once babysat her--and Erdem Moralioğlu, she should try one of their more fun and age-appropriate gowns. Um, and maybe better shoes. (And hey--she's already proved she doesn't mind going out pantless!)

Image Title5

Emilia Clarke: Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series

We're all a bit obsessed with Daenerys Clarke, who can pull off high-drama couture as easily as a pair of jeans. Plus, don't these gowns just scream "Mother of Dragons"?

Image Title6

Kristen Wiig: Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series

Our favorite comedienne prefers simple silhouettes on the red carpet, but we'd love to see her punch it up a notch with eye-catching embellishments--or by pulling off this sexy jumpsuit.

Image Title7

Tina Fey: Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series

Maybe after so many years playing a sort-of disheveled (but totally awesome) Liz Lemon on 30 Rock makes Fey lean towards dramatic red carpet gowns, but in simple colors like navy. We think this is the year for her to branch out into more daring hues and bold patterns.

Image Title8

Michelle Dockery: Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series

Dockery definitely has a silhouette she prefers, but with her shorter hair, we think she should do something with an interesting embellishment or detail up top--or something a little sexier since she Lady Mary is now single (NOT OVER IT, Julian Fellowes, and we're never gonna be over it either!).

Image Title9

Amy Poehler: Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series

Poehler generally leans towards a menswear-inspired look--but she's one hot momma, so we'd put her in something that shows a little more skin.
