Last night, I got the opportunity to tour The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk, Gaultier’s touring retrospective exhibit, at the Brooklyn Museum. It truly brings you into his world, and makes you appreciate all of the inspiration and craftsmanship that has gone into his clothes, from the corsets and cone bras made famous by Madonna, to costume gear for Beyoncé.
We thought about stealing something just to have our own little piece of archival Gaultier, but it turns out we don’t have to. Innovative e-tailer FarFetch has just launched an expansive Jean Paul Gaultier archive sale, which includes 50 runway and editorial pieces, ranging from the designer’s first menswear collection to his Fall 1994 collection. It even includes the infamous cone bra knit dress from the “Le Charme coincé de la Bourgeoisie” Fall 1985 collection
Click through to see all of the pieces—with prices—which are available starting today on FarFetch.com.
