Intern reports to: Store Manager, Director of Retail, and Buyer Hours: Must be able to work at least 2-3 days a week on weekdays.
Intern Description: The Intern is responsible for maintaining the stock room. He/She must demonstrate a high level of maturity, organization, and responsibility. The Intern is there to keep the stock room organized, help with daily operations, and assist the Director of Retail in business needs.
Responsibilities: • Treat the entire boutique, including the stock room with the utmost care and respect • Implement and adhere to all company policies and procedures • Able to overcome objections and obstacles • Able to take criticism and positives when it comes to your responsibilities, also must take direction well • Count in, steam, and tag all incoming merchandise • Put all merchandise in order of style type (ie top, short dress, long dress, etc) and in order by size (ie xs-l or 0-12) • Maintain stock room at all times and adhere to the system to make it easy for associates to find the correct styles for customers • Keep all folded merchandise perfectly folded and ready to display on the floor • Make sure all hanging items are hung the same direction and on the provided white hangers • Be ready at all times to help associates find merchandise they are looking for • Assist the Director of Retail with filling binders, staying organized, and making phone calls • Assist the Buyer in various tasks
Qualifications: Does not have to be in school currently, but we are happy to provide school credit. We require that the intern come in from the hours of 11 AM – 5 PM, two to three days a week.
