It may seem strange at a time when so many brands and retailers are embracing and focusing on online content, that Acne's print magazine, Acne Paper is still going strong. It's one of those special print magazines that feels like it needs to be a print magazine. The editorials are so unique and beautiful and the articles so smart and refined.

The latest issue, out now, is no exception. Called The Actress, the issue focuses only on women--real, smart, interesting ones: French actress Isabelle Huppert graces the cover, posing as Greta Garbo; and talents featured inside include Kristen Scott Thomas, Alicia Vikander and Lake Bell, who talks about her latest role directing the film Worst Enemy, which is about body image and insecurities. We have to say--in her recent New York Magazine cover (in which she was basically nude), she didn't seem to have any (but maybe gave us a few). She tells interviewer Lisa Rovner, "I think women, like men, are guilty of all kinds of media influences. Women are constantly berated by images of what women should look and sound like. One needs to remind oneself that brand images are fantasy. I think it’s sad to see women my age wrestle and hurt themselves to adhere to an impossible image."
