Nora's Grown-Up Glitter Polish

I fell in love with OPI's 'I Snow You Love Me' the second we posted our ultimate guide to this season's best polish collections. I may be a recovering nail polish addict, but that doesn't mean I can't still appreciate a good glitter once in a while.

Actually, though, this polish isn't your typical glitter. It's a clear base with these sort of sequin-esque, holographic mini-discs -- no fine sparkle to fill in the gaps. And I like that about it: It's somehow both super sparkly and minimalist; no-nonsense decadence, if you will.

As far as application goes, it isn't the easiest: You sort have to place each sequin onto your nails with the brush, as opposed to them sweeping on seamlessly. But the end result is worth it. I like how it looks on an otherwise bare nail, which I think keeps it from looking too OTT and nail-arty (heaven forbid!).

Plus, knowing Mariah Carey allegedly approved it for her OPI capsule collection makes my third-grade-self incomparably happy.

You can get your own bottle here.
