Backstage Wednesday at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, surrounded by gorgeous women in slinky pink robes and lingerie, one thing was clear: These girls are gifted. Not only have they won the genetic lottery, but they've also got access to some of the best beauty pros in the biz. As flaw-free as they may look in catalogues and on the runway, even Angels don't wake up with those perfectly tousled waves and glowing skin.

So we had to ask them: What's the best beauty tip or trick they've ever gotten -- either backstage or on a shoot -- that they actually use in their everyday lives? From legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath's wisdom, to unconventional eyelash curlers and contouring we'll totally be trying, click through to see what advice Candice Swanepoel, Jourdan Dunn, Erin Heatherton and more offered up.

"To make the illusion that you have fake lashes, someone taught me that you get a card -- like cardboard or a credit card -- place it behind your eyelashes, and then you use your mascara and push it against it, and then it makes it look like you've got a false lash. It's really good. It was one of my first seasons, I think at Anna Sui... one of Pat McGrath's girls taught me."

"I always like to watch what makeup artists do so I can try to learn new things. I always do the contouring and I highlight the cheekbones, the eye sockets with a little bronzer... just that, even, kind of makes you look more awake and refined, and you can do in two seconds. That's something that I do every day."

"I always put highlighter under my eyebrow and on my nose -- that's what I picked up from Pat McGrath when I was 14. I was always like, 'What's the shiny stick?!' And I always curl my lashes."

"I love an eyelash curler -- when I discovered that, I was like wow! It's just a little thing that really opens up your eye, even if you're not wearing makeup or mascara, sometimes it even looks better without mascara. Also, I love a tinted moisturizer, just something light when you're on the go. And I like highlighter, high up on your cheeks... that's my secret."

"Definitely staying hydrated. I'm trying to drink a lot more water and even just fresh juices, I think it makes a big difference. But I think that extra vitamin kick, it really makes you feel good."

"I've learned how important it is to curl your lashes before putting mascara on -- it really helps to open up your eyes. Shu Uemera makes a great eyelash curler."

"I remember when I first came into Victoria's Secret and watching Adriana [Lima] work the runway, the way she really knew where the cameras were. So it's really important for me to figure out where cameras are and use them... when you walk down the runway, there are cameras everywhere -- so a good tip is to know where the cameras are!"

"Everything. I think less is more, just doing simple things with like concealer, and a blow out, and putting oil in your hair... and just like, hand movements: turn over your dry shampoo, and shake!! You kinda learn those little tricks."

"Not to be so heavy handed when it comes to doing your eyes. I used to line all around and go really dark... but someone taught me to put liner in just the corners sort of, it looks a lot fresher."
