The point of the clip seems to be to promote the "#worldofmarc" photo truck, a traveling photo booth that will roam Bleecker Street (on which Marc Jacobs has several stores) in NYC's West Village every Saturday and Sunday through Dec 22.

To explain this, Duffy mouths an announcement in front of a camera, while another guy actually speaks the words into a microphone. Why, though? The effect is strangely creepy, David Lynch-esque and kind of hard to watch.

This isn't the first time Duffy has gotten weird on YouTube. One time, he took of all his clothes in a stock room in a video that quickly got deleted from the Marc Jacobs YouTube account. This one is much more PG, but equally odd. Perhaps even weird enough to go semi-viral, as we assume was the intention here. A rep for Marc Jacobs could not offer an explanation and neither can we. Watch above.
