1ST CLASS FASHION COPY/EDITORIAL INTERNSHIP

Description: 1st Class Fashion, a start up social media company is seeking a highly motivated, hard-working individual for our fashion editorial internship. Candidates should have a passion for the fashion industry and general knowledge about major fashion brands and current trends. Interns should have a concept of the youthful, fashion-forward character of the 1stCF brand, and be able to express that voice through their writing.

Responsibilities will include: writing 1-2 blog posts daily, brainstorming ideas for posts, creating broad topic themes for monthly posting schedule, fact-checking, photo editing and sourcing. Prior experience with Wordpress, InDesign and Photoshop is a plus.

This position will also have the unique opportunity to helm a new editorial column for the blog. This will require some industry research and potential interviews in the field. A great opportunity for creative work exposure and development.

Internship Duration: 3-month internship, 2-3 days a week

Details: This internship is unpaid and offers college credit. Candidates must be based in the Greater Los Angeles area and available at least 3 days per week.

You will be expected to complete the following daily tasks: • Participate in daily staff meetings • Write copy for blog stories on The Edit- minimum of 1 post a week • Brainstorm story ideas for future posts • Forecast and plot out story themes for the calendar year • Contribute to marketing ideas for the company • Upload our posts on 3rd party sources to promote our brand (such as: City Bliss)

Interns may also be asked to assist with the following: • Reach out to other bloggers for guest edit opportunities • Assist with social media efforts, such as writing of posts on Facebook, tweeting and Instagraming • Assist staff with blog interviews

Description: 1st Class Fashion, a start up social media company is seeking a highly motivated, hard-working individual for our fashion marketing internship. Candidates should have a passion for the fashion industry and general knowledge about major fashion brands and current trends.

Responsibilities will include: conducting research, writing reports, giving presentations, working in teams on strategy, accompanying colleagues on meetings and business administration. Prior experience with Wordpress, InDesign and Photoshop is a plus. Also, applicant should be familiar with general social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, as well as fashion-related social media forums like Pose, Lookbook.nu,

Internship Duration: 3-month internship, 2-3 days a week

Details: This internship is unpaid and offers college credit.

You will be expected to complete the following tasks: • Participate in daily staff meetings • Brainstorm ideas for 1st Class Fashion clothing line • Promote stories from The Edit to local and international publications • Contribute to marketing ideas for the company • Contribute ideas for social media marketing campaigns • Write copy for blog stories on The Edit- minimum of 1 post a week • Source online platforms to share our branded content, and upload our posts on 3rd party sources to promote the 1st Class Fashion brand

Interns may also be asked to assist with the following: • Assist with social media efforts and strategy, such as writing of posts on Facebook, tweeting and Instagraming • On-site assistance at photo shoots • Assistance with on-site campaign efforts- we will go out to events/popular locations a couple times a month to hand out company fliers • Assist staff with blog interviews

Responsibilities will include: posting to various social media outlets on behalf of the company, working creatively to build and increase the brand following, outreach to members and potential users to promote the platform, and prior experience with Wordpress, InDesign and Photoshop is a plus. Also, applicant should be familiar with general social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Pintrest, Instagram, Twitter/Hootsuite, Stumble Upon and Reddit, as well as fashion-related social media forums like Polyvore, Pose and Lookbook.nu.

Internship Duration: 3-month internship, 2-3 days a week

Details: This internship is unpaid and offers college credit.

Candidates should be able to complete the following tasks: • Participate in daily staff meetings • Write copy for blog stories on The Edit- minimum of 1 post a week • Assist with social media efforts, such as writing of posts on Facebook, tweeting and Instagraming • Contribute ideas for social media marketing campaigns • Find weekly Los Angeles Fashion/Art/Tech Events the company can attend to capture street style • Source online platforms to share our branded content
