Need something to kick those polar vortex blues once and for all? Warby Parker‘s got just the prescription.
The purveyor of ultra-cool, charitable and super affordable eyewear has just released its Spring 2014 collection, and it’s just about as sunny as corrective lenses can get. There are eight new frame shapes and six colorways, several of which are also available as sunglasses. “Canton Blue” and “Absinthe” (as seen on The Walker and The Quimby styles, respectively) are two cheerful additions — and while blue or green glasses may not go with every outfit, at around $95 a pop, you can totally afford to pick up more than one pair. As always, the new styles are available for virtual and at-home try on.
And there’s this: I recently had a first date that involved popping into Warbs to try on some frames, and let me tell you: It was pretty spec-tacular. (Sorry. Really, I am.) If you have a brick-and-mortar in your vicinity, I’d highly recommend it as a cost-free daytime activity… at least while public grassy areas are covered in a foot of snow, anyway. Oh, and boys will make passes. Promise.
