H&M began showing at Paris Fashion Week last February, and the event has quickly become a nice little recharge for editors starting their fourth week on the circuit. (It's hard to believe NYFW started almost a month ago.) This season, the Swedish high street behemoth invited lots of pretty celebrities -- Jessica Alba, Solange Knowles and Pretty Little Liars star Troian Bellisario all showed up Wednesday night -- and used a live performance by French singer HollySiz as a runway soundtrack.

The party continued when the models hit the catwalk in lofty turtlenecks, shearling bombers and shimmering mini dresses. But it wasn't just about the super-fun clothes. Instead, the pleasant surprise came when Joan Smalls and co. posed for the cameras. Each cracked a smile: some were subtle smirks, others were big ol' grins. (Lindsey Wixson, unsurprisingly, chose the latter.) It was a nice gesture on H&M's part. After seeing hundreds of mopey models this season, we needed that moment to remind us that fashion is, after all, fun.
