What happens when you combine color-blocking and texture? Texture-blocking, of course. And, hot on the heels of other coat trends this season, it looks just as cozy as it sounds.

Designer Danielle Sherman used this technique as a springboard for Edun's recent collection, creating earthy, lived-in looks with comfort in mind. Hache used strips of fur to piece its looks together, while shearling and leather made for a bright idea at 3.1 Phillip Lim. These are statement pieces, to say the least.
