Bergdorf Goodman Is Doing a 'Where's Waldo' Hunt for a Mansur Gavriel Bag at SXSW

Since the waiting lists for Mansur Gavriel's bucket bag are about a mile long, maybe competing for one is the quickest route to accessory heaven.

As the waiting lists for Mansur Gavriel's uber-popular bucket bags prove, getting your hands on their goods has proven to be a bit of a challenge. Because nothing good in life ever comes easy, Bergdorf Goodman is running an Instagram-fueled contest during South by Southwest to give away a bucket bag.

It's basically a real-life game of "Where's Waldo" -- and a pretty smart way to drum up excitement for the department store at SXSW, since one wouldn't typically think of Bergdorf Goodman as synonymous with the tech scene.

Bergdorf Goodman's social media manager Cannon Tekstar Hodge will be dressed in clothing from the department store's contemporary floor, 5F, tweeting out hints about her location. If festival-goers find her, snap a pic and Instagram it with the hashtag #SX5F, they're entered to win a Mansur Gavriel bag.

This is all to say: If you're heading to Austin in the next few days, we suggest you start following Hodge on Twitter, stat.
