Lauren's Orange Nail Polish Makes It Pop

Among the many, many things I want to buy this spring is a structured orange tote. With all my spring separates of white, navy and gray, this one from Prada or this one from Valextra would give, in my mind's eye, a polished completeness to an otherwise understated wardrobe. But since I just dropped more than a month's rent on a Burberry trench coat (this one, if you were curious) there will be no orange handbag in my immediate future.

Still, an expensive trench coat does not cure my long-standing craving for orange (this has been going on since last spring, actually). So I've decided to treat myself to a bottle of Butter London's "Silly Billy" nail polish. At $15, it may be a little expensive for a nail polish, but I've found that Butter London's polishes are generally long-lasting -- and, at the end of the day, one bottle is a lot less expensive than a Prada bag.

Butter London nail polish in Silly Billy, $15, available at Net-a-Porter.
