Bit of bad news for those of you relentlessly combing eBay hoping to score one of those Chanel "Mademoiselle Privé" doormats (wait, I wasn't the only one, right?): Chanel looters weren't allowed to keep those goods.

When the show ended, the following announcement came over the P.A.: "Dear valued customer, the Chanel store is now closing. Please feel free to pick up your complimentary fruit and vegetables as you leave."

The doormats and brooms people were caught ripping off displays aren't exactly produce, and Chanel was ready for those sticky-fingered fashion fiends: Dazed reports, in a hilarious minute-by-minute looting recap, that security guards were stationed at the exit to confiscate any non-produce goods.

We've reached out to Chanel to confirm, but as The Telegraph also reported that no one was allowed to leave with the Chanel-themed props, we're pretty sure we're not going to get our hands on one of those doormats anytime soon.
