It's no secret that online (and soon-to-be offline) retailer Nasty Gal has big ambitions, starting with the expansion of its in-house collections. After launching footwear last year with Shoe Cult, the retailer is making its first foray into swimwear, which we have an exclusive first look at.

The line launched Tuesday with an 18-piece assortment available in solid white, black and red, with a wider assortment to come in the following weeks. Tops and bottoms can be purchased individually or together. With cutouts and harnesses galore, the bikinis -- as if the brand would put out a one-piece -- leave very little to the imagination. (Neither do the company's prom dresses.)

If Nasty Gal's apparel seems tailor-made for Coachella, the swimwear is perfect for the music festival's many pool parties. And with an accessible price point -- $40 to $48 -- they're likely exactly what many Spring Break-bound youngsters are looking for as well. The brand knows who it's targeting -- and its consistent growth is a testament to that.
