Last time we checked in with Roopal Patel, founder of Roopal Patel Consulting, she let us in on her list of 20 New York Fashion Week picks that she predicts buyers will be snapping up for fall. You could say Patel, who has held fashion director positions at Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Moda Operandi, has a knack for not only knowing what customers dream about having in their closets, but also what we'll actually shell out our cold, hard cash for.

So we asked Patel to do the same for Paris Fashion Week, typically revered as the highlight of the show-going season for the fantastical (but not always wearable) clothing. But, as Patel previously mentioned, the line between what you seen on the catwalk and what will pop up in stores is becoming more blurred than ever -- she estimates that about a fifth of runway looks are now stocked in shops, a figure that's higher than ever.

With that in mind, here are 20 things that, according to Patel, have the right mix of commercial and editorial appeal to make it onto retail floors -- and subsequently into our closets. From Céline's statement coats to Stella McCartney's tie-dye separates and Chanel's very cool sneakers, here's what you can look forward to putting down the plastic for six months from now.
