We’re big fans of London-based label Ostwald Helgason here at Fashionista — Tyler couldn’t stop thinking about the brand’s spring 2014 balloon dog sweatshirt until she finally caved and bought one — and its cult following is about to become much larger.

Following in the footsteps of labels like J.W. Anderson, Mark Fast and Preen, Ostwald Helgason is the latest to create a collection of affordable accessories for Aldo Rise, Aldo's program that aims to promote and support up-and-coming talent in the fashion industry. While the collection was first unveiled at the brand's fall 2014 fashion week presentation, it hits stores Tuesday. And much like Ostwald Helgason’s runway collections, it's bright, color-blocked and filled with interesting textures thanks to the incorporation of materials like raffia and patent and embossed leather.

The range of shoes and bags is inspired by the colorful works of artists Jeff Koons and Sean O’Meallie, with stripes that are meant to mimic ribbons on gifts and evoke memories of childhood birthday parties. Prices range from $65 for a cross-body bag to $130 for a pair of chunky heels.
