NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Sorry. OK. Actually... wait a second.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

As of Wednesday, arguably one of the best things about shopping online at ASOS -- free shipping on all orders, with no minimum purchase necessary -- is but a distant memory. And just like that: The affordable e-commerce world as we knew it will never be the same.

ASOS describes the changes to its shipment pricing policy in a release: American customers must now spend at least $25 in order to qualify for free delivery; otherwise, the fee is $4. Meaning that $9.53 scrunchie with a musical note motif will now cost ya a whopping $13.53. For shame.

The changes are affecting international ASOS custos as well, with a minimum of £15 (or the equivalent depending on currency) now mandatory for no-cost delivery. The alternative is a charge of £3.

Returns remain free, THANKSBETOGOD -- but Joni Mitchell was totally right: You really don't know what you've got 'til it's gone.
