As with any visit to a far-away place, one day just wasn't enough for me to truly soak in all that NYC's British hotspots had to offer. So, having spent my first outing popping into candy shops and grocers, getting afternoon tea (with the Queen, no less! Well... sort of) and exploring a hotel fit for Harry Potter, I decided to extend my little holiday a bit longer.
Luckily, the perfect weather decided to hold out -- no sign of London fog here! -- and I wanted to take full advantage of it. It may not be summer just yet, but you wouldn't know it from looking at me: From my vintage postcard-print sundress to my sunny (and unbelievably cozy) bright yellow cashmere cardi and the hot pink patent slingback flats I just can't bear to part ways with -- all by Boden -- my outfit worked equally well for a stroll through the park and a refreshing pint. And lest we forget, no visit to Britain (not even an imaginary one!) would be complete without a nice, hearty meal of fish 'n chips.
